Million Dollar Arm Review - A Mommy Talks
http://amommytalks.com/2014/05/million-dollar-arm-review.html
Million Dollar Arm Review. May 16, 2014. Sports have a way of teaching us about ourselves and what it means to be a unit. But Million Dollar Arm. Isn’t a movie about baseball. The themes and story lines go far beyond the world of sports. Not a big sports fan? No worries. Baseball is really just the backdrop for a film about a man determined to see his plan succeed and learning that his lifestyle must change so that he can help others realize their dreams. This is a great family film for parents with olde...
Silenced {Review} - A Mommy Talks
http://amommytalks.com/2014/05/silenced-review.html
May 31, 2014. By Dani Pettrey is the fourth book in the Alaskan Courage series. This book travels between the two Alaskan islands, Tariuk and Imnek. After Kayden McKenna discovers the body of a fellow climber, she and Jake Westin team up to investigate the death provoking threats on her entire family. All in all, another good book from Dani Pettrey. I look forward to seeing how the Alaskan Courage Series comes to an end. More on the Alaskan Courage Series. A Mommy Talks Reviews. Toddler Terrorism: May 2010
http://toddlerterrorism.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. 2 pm At The Office. I Ate Too Much For Lunch Today. Into the land of slumber. Dozing at my desk. Wednesday, May 19, 2010. This morning, as I was getting ready for work a little bit later than I. Have been lately, I heard something unexpected. The Birdie was awake, and fussing that she wanted to get up. Okay, that. I want my mommy! Blink No, surely I must have heard that wrong. Because she has never ever. Daddy she wants, to the point where she will sometimes wail, "Nooooo! I went ...
Toddler Terrorism: September 2012
http://toddlerterrorism.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 14, 2012. With four kids under the age of 6, a day when you accomplish anything is a good day. A day when you get to go do something fun? Bonus So we were pretty excited, last weekend, at the idea of going to the Neighborhood Festival, complete with greasy food (which I would, sadly, have to avoid), booths manned (or womanned) by purveyors of superfluous toys and unnecessary trinkets (plastic lightsaber or hand-crafted, rose-scented aromatherapy candle, anyone? Which it didn’t. But, reg...
Toddler Terrorism: February 2010
http://toddlerterrorism.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. I'm bringin' home a baby bumblebee.won't my mommy be so proud of me? Well, we aren't bringing home our Baby Bumblebee quite. Yet, but we did get a look at her last Thursday. And yes, I did say her. We found out on Thursday that our Birdie and our Imp are getting a little sister! She was full of questions when she found out. Remarkably intuitive questions, at least in my opinion. Is she in Mommy's tummy? I'm going to sing her a song! And pretty much once a day since then, she ...

Sunday, March 28, 2010. Okay, I lied. It's not that little. And for anyone who knows me at all, it's not a secret. I am not a housekeeper. No, let's be real here. In the spirit of, you know, bold blogging. And all. I am a slob. Don't judge me. We can't all be perfect. We all have our dirty little secrets. Mine just happens to be, well, not so little. In the background of many of my pictures, you have probably noticed toys lying around. This is not the type of thing I'm talking about ,. It depends on wher...
Toddler Terrorism: Awakening
http://toddlerterrorism.blogspot.com/2012/10/awakening.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. A cry pierced the night. I jerked awake, blood pounding, adrenalin rushing through my veins. My eyes flew open, and a pale green glow cast shadows on the far wall. The cry rose in pitch; broke off; resumed, with added fury. A low moan of despair joined the sound, and I realized belatedly that it came from my own throat. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Mommy Story - Tales of one woman stumbling her way through motherhood.
Tales of one woman stumbling her way through motherhood. May 7, 2015. Runs in the Family. May 7, 2015. I had a deliberately slow plan for us: we’d do intervals of 30 seconds of running, followed by one minute of walking. I can run faster intervals than that, but I didn’t want to wear Mira out too quickly. Now that she wasn’t huffing and puffing, though, she had enough air to complain:. 8220;This second mile is taking forever! 8220;Where is the water station? 8220;OMG, we have to run uphill again? I remai...

Follow me to TheTangledSlinky.blogspot.com. I thought I’d get it up and transitioned faster, but I keep forgetting that I have 4 kids, and two different school schedules, and a husband who was out of town…. Feel free to add it to your rss feed if you’d like, and hopefully I’ll see you there! Are you (in)Sane yet?

Mommy's Must Haves
Friday, October 26, 2012. Walgreens Introduces Balance Rewards. If you haven't been to Walgreens recently, you may not know about their new Balance Rewards. Program. Walgreens is just down the road from us, so I'm there all the time for shampoo, vitamins, moisturizer, and of course prescription medications. Apparently they were listening to my thoughts, because just recently Walgreens launched their new Balance Rewards. For example, this week (sale ending tomorrow) I can earn 1000 points for buying two b...

A Mommy Thought
Here are a few mommy thoughts, experiences, family updates and whatever else comes to mind. Monday, July 20, 2015. For a Mother's Day gift, I asked for this "Mama Bird" shirt. I'm very proud of all my baby birds so this shirt fits me well. It's comfy and cute. You can wear it with shorts or dress it up with a blazer for sunday mornings. Ya can't go wrong! The company suggests that you order a size up from what you normally wear so I ordered this one in a medium and it's perfect. From The Bee and The Fox.
Life through the eyes of "A WEIRD MOM"
Life through the eyes of "A WEIRD MOM". Wednesday, November 9, 2011. The morning ride to school. This morning while taking my son Easton(3) to school with my other son Carson Parker(5) at his side this is what I heard. Easton: "Mommy the grass is growing on my hand.". Carson Parker "Easton, that's not grass that's hair! God put hair on your hand not grass.". Easton "I don't want hair on my hand.". Carson Parker "Well sometimes God gives us what we need, not what we want.". Tuesday, November 1, 2011.

Silly Sayings
Friday, July 10, 2009. We decided to go out to dinner last night. As I was trying to figure out where to go I began to ask everyone what they would agree to. Kiah actually said she wanted Mexican food. She REALLY wanted Mexican food, because when we tried to switch to something else she got very upset. She said she wanted some rice and beans. Alright, whatever! Luna: That is enough. In fact, it is too much. Kiah tied a salty chip. Kiah: I don't like Mexican salt. Thursday, June 4, 2009. Set back, I think...
A Mom Named Luna
Thursday, November 7, 2013. The kids are all doing really well and it is always nice to hear someone gush over your child because that really is what it felt like, aside from the one teacher I already mentioned, but it was a good report none the less. I know a few things I need to work on, like calling their former school and seeing what the deal is and why they haven't sent their records yet? Is what makes them beautiful. When does self-doubt creep into a person? It sure made me think twice about asking...
