Friday, October 18, 2013. Trying to play "catch up". We went to Smith Mountain Lake back in September to celebrate Brad turning the BIG 3-0.and to just enjoy LIFE, LOVE and FRIENDSHIPS! An amazing day of sunshine, good food, fellowship, a little chaos, a lot of LAKE and a ton of FUN! Going to Carter's Mountain to watch the SUNSET is always a glorious time! Saturday, October 26, 2013. Our family loves Carters Mountain. It will always be a fall tradition for apple picking, apple donuts, watching the sunset and picking out a pumpkin. (Not great pictures but at least you can see what we're up to! Carving our pumpkin. I took a great picture on my iphone of our Jack-o-lantern all lit up. I posted it to Instagram! It's awesome. ;). Saturday, January 12, 2013. Disney World (Part 1 of what could be 100;). It's been a long (and isolating) week. Brad was at his corporate meeting in Orlando all week and Hudson was diagnosed with the FLU! So thankful my mom was able to come for a few days. THANK YOU, Mom! Because you come from a long line of strong women on both sides of your family. The single hardest thing I have ever had to accept in my life is the fact that you will never know your grandmother, Nana. She was called to be with Jesus only seven weeks before you were born. You would have loved her. And you know what? Life is Good Today.

AMOS
AMOS is an interfaith, ecumenical coalition of congregations working to build more compassionate communities in Southwest Wisconsin. We identify people’s hopes and concerns for their community through one-on-one personal interviews conducted by AMOS volunteers. From these interviews, we identify and prioritize issues and establish taskforces to work on the issues. Currently taskforces are working on Restorative Justice, Healthcare, Hmong Community Concerns, and Food Insecurity. How to get involved.
