A Mountain To Climb

A Mountain To Climb. One man's struggle to begin again after losing everything. Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Since we lost everything in January of 2008 we have had to learn to live one day at a time. After eighteen months, I can say that it is very liberating to have found that everyday has good in it. Fretting over what might happen or what has happened will only cause you to miss the good God has in store for you today. Today is a good day if you can learn to find joy in it, you have found a great treasure.

A Mountain To Climb: Lesson Learned # 54

http://amountaintoclimb.blogspot.com/2009/04/lesson-learned-54.html

A Mountain To Climb. One man's struggle to begin again after losing everything. Friday, April 10, 2009. Lesson Learned # 54. Most discouragement is not because of what is happening around you now. It is because of what you think is going to happen or not going to happen in the future. This is the most difficult to deal with because God has not supplied the grace yet for some future event. A Mountain To Climb. One man's struggle to begin again after losing everything. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Why do these attacks work so well on us over and over again? The bad news probably will not come to pass and the good news may not either but you can make a difference where you are. Thank the Lord for today and enjoy the grace he will provide for you today. A Mountain To Climb: Lesson # 102

http://amountaintoclimb.blogspot.com/2009/04/lesson.html

A Mountain To Climb. One man's struggle to begin again after losing everything. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Anger has never been my strong suit. Sometimes I should be mad but I am not. The scripture says be ye angry and sin not. Anger can be a driving force if you don't let it cause you to sin. Sometimes as the Rascal Flatts song 'Stand' says you bend till you break, decide you've had enough, you get mad, then you stand. It is possible to be angry and sin not. A Mountain Too High

A Mountain Too High. Sunday, April 5, 2009. I now have my own domain and will be blogging there. Nothing has changed, just a new URL to bookmark :). Follow me at amountaintoohigh.com. Friday, April 3, 2009. On Monday, the fellows did the stairs in the dark walnut. I was worried somebody/everybody would "walk off into a dark hole". No worries, I stained the nosings (edges? Just a slight shade lighter than the floor. The contrast is great - just enough to show stairs. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Today, a long...

A Mountain Too High | Living With Alzheimer's Disease

A Mountain Too High. Living With Alzheimer's Disease. I don’t know where to begin this post – the days seem so empty, futile. long and sad – and that’s for me. Can you imagine how difficult the days are for Wayne? Hopefully he is unaware of the situation. Surprisingly, he toils on this journey while many pass before him. I don’t know if it’s because he was so incredibly fit or maybe his wonderful personality bouys him daily – or his faith. Missed posting but I could not pick up the pen – so to speak.

Mountain Top Experience

September 1, 2008. June 9, 2008. I just thought I better make a better habit of posting here so here goes with one of my most recent wonderful blessings. Thanks again Mel, we needed that vacation as you may well know after a week with those two rascals! March 7, 2008. February 19, 2008. Such a simple blessing but so obviously the Lord fulfilling His promises to us to bless us as we put Him first in our lives. Third: I will not assume that anything written here will be of any specific value to anyone who ...
