I don't know where I am. Thursday, April 9, 2009. It has been a few months since the last update, but what the heck, here we go. I really don't know what i have done all winter besides play hockey, work, get tattoos, go to rock concerts and get drunk. I played on 2 travel hockey teams, Waterloo and Mason City. Then when it came down to the year end tournament, I played for both. My Mason City team lost all 3 games (amazing) and my Waterloo team won the tournament (YAY)! See you all soon. Saturday was pretty awesome, great layout, great participants, phenomenal fans (Andy, Rob and especially Squirrel), plus overall it was totally fun! Downhill barriers are pretty awesome, by the way, plus a pretty brutally huge run up, for a rook like me! Most everyone else was riding it, but oh well. Sunday on the other hand. can we say WINDY! I don't know if you would call it "busy" or "lazy," but I haven't been out to ride since Cross out Crohns, but yet I still try to race whenever I can! Friday, April 28, 2006. Just me and my shadow. On the way back from Hudson. Took 27th street west from Cedar Falls to the Dike-New Hartford blacktop then south to the Zanetta blacktop, went east to Hudson and back north to Waterloo. 42 miles. It's all good! Good luck to all the Trans Iowa V2 guys and gals this weekend. Everyone be careful and have big-time fun! Kerkove, G-Ted, Jackal and the rest. Be safe. Jackal's here. Sunday, July 18, 2010. Spent the day up in Kensett, Iowa yesterday. It was GREAT seeing family that I hadn't seen in quite some time. Rode to Hudson and back with Jackal this morning. I am soooooo out of shape. It was a good ride, though, and perhaps just what I needed to get me motivated to get back on the bike a bit more consistantly. Peace out, yo! Monday, May 03, 2010. I got a little riding in on the CX bike this weekend. It hadn't been out of the basement since Jingle. The Yellow Bike and the single speeds have been ridden, but not the CX bike. The trails were pretty busy yesterday, which made "the goin'" kinda slow. Lot's of people out enjoying the beautiful weather. Should be able to get the kayaks out soon. I'm sure the water is still cold enough that a spill wouldn't be too much fun! The goal would be not to take a spill, I guess :). Nice day...
