Doing pretty well, all things considered. I had my surgery yesterday, and it went well. It took a bit less time than they'd anticipated. Apparently, despite my collection of previous surgeries, there aren't a lot of adhesions in there complicating their work. And, rather than taking out the mesh from the previous hernia repair, they just re-attached it. Hopefully it will stay this time! Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Everyone liked it, and the little girls even exclaimed over how wonderful it was, so, a real success. 1 quart chicken broth. 4, 15” segments lemon grass. 4-5 kaffir lime leaves – I didn’t have any, but would have used them if I did). 1, 14-ounce can coconut milk. 1-2 tbl brown sugar. Frac14; cup fish sauce. Juice of 1 lime. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast filets, sliced thin across the grain.

Birthday desserts, 2012 edition. So, I made special desserts last month for Harolds 43rd and my 46th birthdays. For Harolds, I worked on refining my seven-layer cake. I started this project last year. The layers were a little too thick and a tad dry. For next year, I suggest using 1 recipe instead of 1.5, using the same pans. Then cover with plastic wrap or something else to keep them moister. The frosting was Hersheys recipe for Perfectly Chocolate Frosting. And it inspired MY birthday dessert! And, we ...

While the pedometer doesn't do much of the work, it does give me geekish joy at watching the numbers go up and gives me something very definite to shoot for. I think I'm gonna like this! Challah recipe using whole grains? Can anyone here share a recipe for challah using part or all whole grains? I'd prefer one you've used successfully, but one from a source you trust highly would be good too. So far I've tried substituting about 1/3 whole wheat flour into my usual recipe, and the result is too dry for my taste. I prefer a rich loaf that's a bit moist or at least not dry.
