http://ampthillcm.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, 25 July 2014. Shaws Corner - National Trust. The journey is around 45 minutes drive from Ampthill (22 miles), a pleasant country drive. It. Is the former residence of Sir George Bernard Shaw. I would think unless you are a really big fan of GBS y. Ou will only spend an hour or so around there. It. Was a nice afternoon out and lovely to take a picnic, as there are no catering facilities there, just some ice-creams. Sunday, 20 July 2014. Flowers from the garden. I have grown some marigolds, cornflo...

Ampthill Country Market: New stalls
http://ampthillcm.blogspot.com/2015/06/new-stalls.html
Wednesday, 3 June 2015. Ampthill Town Council provides stalls to those that need one and they have recently changed to posh blue gazebo ones - they look very smart and match in with lots of the others that are already on the market. They are a little bit dark inside compared to what we are used to, so think we may need to get a white cloth to brighten it up - what do you think? We are in Ampthill every Thursday morning. We do have windows in some of the panels. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Blogging this and that. Living in Ampthill, making cards, gardening, baking, CraftsbyCarolyn. Monday, July 20, 2015. I bought this stamp on my travels, and decided to use the technique that I had seen ages ago by. Where you colour the stamp with watercolour pens and stamp onto watercolour paper. Then you use a wet brush, I would say not too wet, and then create something like this. My stamp was a big stamp, I need some stamps that I can build a picture like the video. 20 Jul 2015, 19:51:00. Blogging this and that. Living in Ampthill, making cards, gardening, baking, CraftsbyCarolyn. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. This was my first play at this type of thing, wanted to make some pretty 'retro' stuff, but maybe more like victorian, as well as modern. The cupcakes are clearly not much sewing required, they are just in silicone cupcake cases, then it took me some time to decide what to glue them with, so in the end I have use a hard as nails type of product! Blogging this and that. Living in Ampthill, making cards, gardening, baking, CraftsbyCarolyn. Sunday, July 26, 2015. I bought these stamps before holiday, and actually made them before too, but only just got around to taking some pictures. Love the watering can and table - my kind of thing, from Little Claire. Not much to say about them really, just my normal simple cards, but keeps me out of mischief :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Gardening plants veggies etc. Ampthill Country Market blog.

Blogging this and that. Living in Ampthill, making cards, gardening, baking, CraftsbyCarolyn. Saturday, July 25, 2015. I had made this before I went away using the rest of Owen's jeans. I made a longer strap so that it goes over the body - although probably maybe a bit short if you were tall! Whilst on holiday I saw a stall full of bags she had made loads.a lot of them had belts too, she must have a lot of people that give her old jeans! Thought it was worth a look at her fabulous makes :). The health be...

Blogging this and that. Living in Ampthill, making cards, gardening, baking, CraftsbyCarolyn. Thursday, July 23, 2015. I have just spotted a pattern for a Japanese Knot Bag, so that is next on my list. There was also Michaels and Hobby Lobby really near, a Joanns a 20 min drive away, and I also went to Tuesday Morning and found some crafty bits in there. Then once I got home I folded it all up neatly into a box, now it seems too nice to use :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ampthill CM - my stuff.

Ampthill Country Market: April 2015
http://ampthillcm.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Friday, 24 April 2015. Henry Moore - Perry Green. This a little further from Ampthill, and certainly different type of day out. I admit I went as 'helper' with the school quite a few years ago, and wasn't sure if it was going to be my thing. But it was lovely wandering around seeing the enormous pieces of art that Henry Moore had produced. It opens for the season on 1 May. There is a place to eat a picnic, or I would recommend combining the visit to Hopleys plants. Labels: places to visit. Blog and News ...
