On December 26, 2004. A tsunami struck the shores of southern India. In villages on the coast of Kerala, lives were devastated. Homes, children, husbands and wives were lost in a few moments. As part of an extensive tsunami survivor rehabilitation project, collectives were created throughout Southern India by Amma. On January 29, 2005. Monday, May 03, 2010. A logo for a beautiful reason. I WAS LUCKY to have the opportunity recently to design a logo for Amrita Sacred Threads, a new clothing line. The clothes are a delight: the designer has struck a perfect balance by using Indian sari silk, with its luscious colors and complex woven detail, to make contemporary clothing that you can wear anywhere.
