Thursday, December 30, 2010. We spent Christmas at the Davis' this year. It was a new experience for me, having to wait till Christmas morning to open presents. But it was so much fun and we had a great time with family. I also had to work on Christmas day, which wasn't too bad because I got to see the residents and their excited faces when their family came to see them. Thursday, June 16, 2011. We are back from our adventure in Ukraine! The last week or so was quite hectic. Packing, repacking, organizing a party for our students and their parents(which was farm themed). That party was a lot of fun, especially with the 4-5 year old kids. We had them dress up like farmers (using Tysen's clothes, which engulfed them) and race around chairs. Oh and then we had them do the hokey pokey, but with a twist! It was animal parts! They would have done anything for those eggs! 7 Now...

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Quick Thought of the Past. As I hear Sister Frederick Jr. leaving on her wonderful mission. I happen to think of my own and wondered to myself. what do I miss most? Is it the washing machines? Or the rugs on the walls? Was it the "mostly" broken down train? Or the thought of having to clean my shirts in the tub? Was it the tall buildings? Or the "too many stairs" to climb? Was it the wonderful water supply or toiletry? He he no of course not! And mud fights. of course.
