Janet Kan the Soprano. Sunday, 22 March 2009. I wondered lonely as the cloud. Sat 21st March 2009 was the first day of spring. This is my first time experiencing spring in this country. This is also my first time seeing daffodils in my life. Suddenly I remembered the famous poem by William Wordsworth called I wondered lonely as the cloud. I wandered lonely as a cloud. That floats on high o'er vales and hills,. When all at once I saw a crowd,. A host of golden daffodils;. Continuous as the stars that shine.
