I'm Not Skippy Jr.: March 2011
http://skippyjr.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. Baby girl. . . We were sitting on the couch a couple nights ago and my wife was having contractions. That wasn't anything new, she's been having a steady stream of Braxton Hicks contractions for weeks. She's also been dilated go 3 cm for several weeks. So we take all contractions seriously. These were different, these were starting to get uncomfortable for her and seemed to be a little more regular than the others. And then we (or mainly I) slept—off and on—until 6 am ...The docto...

I'm Not Skippy Jr.: So loud. . .
http://skippyjr.blogspot.com/2011/06/so-loud.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. So loud. . . Sleep has been a little harder with the second kid due to one main thing. . . she is so loud. I mean car alarm loud. Even when she's crying strictly for attention (the big blubbering "whah's") she has a really loud voice. But that's my roll to play. My wife is a heavy sleeper so I'm the one that gets up to take care of her. It makes for some dangerous drives to work nodding off at the wheel. Posted by I'm Not Skippy. Sabbatical | Life Revisited
https://namastemom.wordpress.com/2011/08/25/sabbatical
Picking up the pieces of my life after the loss of a baby. Laquo; Thrown for a Loop. August 25, 2011. This will be interesting. I am using the iPad to post but I can not see the text. Maybe the color of the text is white? Why I can’t I see anything? That means I’m not responsible if this instrument changes a word automatically. As an explanation as to why I have been sparse. It took me nearly a month to pack our house, move everything and everyone, and then unpack our house here. Then, I started ...You a...

It is that time of year again | Life Revisited
https://namastemom.wordpress.com/2012/11/17/it-is-that-time-of-year-again
Picking up the pieces of my life after the loss of a baby. Laquo; 5 months. It is that time of year again. November 17, 2012. The sun dims in the afternoon sky. A chill covers me early in the afternoon. The smell of decaying leaves, the long shadows, and the crisp air constantly remind me of Norah. I am two days away from 5 years and every hour I am reminded of her. Five years ago, I was teaching my last class with her…. Five years ago, I was walking in the woods with her…. Making the decision to have a child is momentous… it is to decide forever to have your heart walking around outside your body. Friday, 2 November 2007. The kitchen is open! Some exciting news - I have started to notice the smallest amount of wet spots on my bra when I take it off! These things are not just for show, they seem to be real, live, functioning body parts! Ready when you are little one - Mumma's. Ooh, I'm jealous! I've been waiting MONTHS to lactate and so far.nothing. Pink or Blue Booties.

Once upon a time...: Wrong way out
http://transitiontofamily.blogspot.com/2007/10/wrong-way-out.html
Making the decision to have a child is momentous… it is to decide forever to have your heart walking around outside your body. Wednesday, 24 October 2007. I think my baby thinks that it can somehow find a way out of my belly through the belly button area. It has been constantly trying to kick/punch a hole through there for the last week. The advice I found on google was this:. 183; Ease the symptoms of morning sickness. 183; Sooth and prevent bleeding gums which many pregnant women often experience.

Making the decision to have a child is momentous… it is to decide forever to have your heart walking around outside your body. Wednesday, 31 October 2007. It is my birthday today. I have been thinking about my Mum all day. As I was going to sleep I thought ‘She already knew I was coming 27 years from now, I wonder how she was feeling’. Each time I woke up for the bathroom in the middle of the night I thought ‘She was still going through labour this time 27 years ago’. Crying has become very common to me!

Pudding’s World – Week 14 | The Galang Family Blog
https://babygalang.wordpress.com/making-pudding/puddings-world-week-14
The Galang Family Blog. It started with a kiss…. Pudding’s World – Week 14. There is not really that much different happening this week, Pudding is just building on things already established and his/her organs are becoming more sophisticated. However, look at Pudding’s growth! 2 cm growth is one week! Pudding’s eyes and ears continue to move and develop, and neck is still getting longer so that his/her chin no longer rests on his/her chest. Our little one’s sense of taste and smell are further refined.
