Thursday, December 9, 2010. Tis the Season : Christmas is upon us! This year we decided ( against all I have ever done ) to get an artificial tree . Every year we head to the tree lot but I have always LOVED the white "flocked" trees and have been saving for a pretty one for the last few years. Well, we took the plunge and got a beautiful white tree( and it was super easy with no sticky branches- haha! It is such a snowy beauty in my window and Georgia loved putting up the ornaments this year.

Friday, February 18, 2011. A week of HOORAY! This has been a week of Hooray and yippie as we have cheered our two sweet girls on! Georgia and I spent 4 days in the house last week on "lock down" to get her completely potty trained. Day 1 was challenging. but by day 2 she was feeling pretty cool in her minnie mouse panties and was ready to take on the task! HAPPY to say, she has done #1 and #2 with no accidents in 5 days. We are so proud of her! Georgia like to place STICKERS for her Victory!

Friday, October 29, 2010. FALL is in the air . and we could not wait to do our annual trip to Gentry's Farm! There is so much history in Franklin , and this farm has been operating since the 1800's! This year was even more FUN because Georgia was old enough to do more of the activities AND we had Violet to join us this year too! Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Family of 3 . soon to be 4! We had some pictures taken last month by a sweet friend - kelli Trontell. (www.kellitrontell.com ). Sammy and I wanted some photos taken of the three of us before the new little lady arrives in September. and we were thrilled with what Kelli captured. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Wow, December flew by and I can't believe it's 2011! We had a wonderful Christmas with family in Ringgold, GA - this was the first year that Georgia really understood Christmas ( well. sort of! She understood presents for sure but not the real meaning of Christmas! I look forward to the time when she can really listen and understand that Christ was born to die . for HER! We also had a white Christmas in Georgia so we were really excited!

Friday, August 20, 2010. My little girl is beginning to look like a BIG girl lately. This summer has gone by so fast and with another baby on the way, I have been horrible on blogging! I guess chasing a 2 1/2 yr old takes up more time than you think! We have been busy the last several weeks tearing our house apart ( or so it seems) with moving and re-arranging rooms for the arrival of Violet Joy. We officially moved Georgia to her "big girl room" at the beginning of August and it looks SO CUTE!

Thursday, April 22, 2010. Baby Ward # 2 . 19 weeks. We had our 19 week ultrasound on tuesday and it went wonderful! Baby #2 is a girl and we were quite surprised! This pregnancy has felt so different than the first ( WAY MORE SICKNESS) and so we naturally thought - this must be a boy? Needless to say we are thrilled with having two little beauties in the house and it will be easy and fun to share clothes and toys! And easy on the budget! We are still tossing around names but will let you know soon!
