On Saturday night I was billed as the headline act for the Ocean Beach Club - a massive outdoor club and restaurant with a huge pool and a floating dance floor. Justin and Natalie, our generous hosts, joined us as we watched the pre-gig show with fire dancers and acrobats. Amy and I woke up the next afternoon at 3pm! Saturday, 26 July 2008. A great WordPress.com site. May 19, 2013. 10 months. Has it really been 10 months since I left home? It doesn’t seem possible, but the calendar doesn’t lie. I have a Peace Corps calendar hanging in my room. I also have a dry erase calendar on my wall too, thanks Megan! Anyways, I went through and marked the important dates- 10 months, 11 months, 1 year in Africa, halfway, etc. It is such an amazing feeling to look at the calendar and see my accomplishment every month for just being here. He had me there.
