Monday, December 01, 2014. A visit to grandma Erma's grave for her birthday. To celebrate Misty, my mom, and my birthday we spent the day out at Goldfield Ghost Town. Started with a train ride. Guess who racked up the most points? Ya, I'm pretty good. Looking forward to seeing how I do with a real gun. There is no one I would rather turn 36 with! Andso glad to be the day after my mom. Saturday, February 26, 2011. When Everyone is Sick. When everyone is sick in the house, the postings are small. James still has an ear infection. Fox has something viral. Mary has an ear infection, sinus infection, and bronchitis. Since James is the "least sick" out of all of us, he's taking care of the family. This was our Valentine's Day a few weeks ago. So this is us. nothing else to report . adios! Saturday, February 19, 2011. This is why it is nice to have a tall dad who is 6'3 - according to Fox.

In early February, all the 6th graders in ALP Math (advanced) worked on a tough word-problems packet, and the top six scorers from each elementary school qualified to go to the All-Star Mathletes district competition! There were 25 problems like this, to be done in their heads (no paper, and obviously no calculators) and they just wrote down the answer at the end of each problem. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. James and Mary went to a wedding in Sedona, Arizona last week for the newlywed Shermans! It has been a long time without Fox on a trip and the silence was appreciated. Excuse the poor picture quality - we are waiting for our camera to go completely ka-put before making an investment in a new one. (Mary is secretly campaigning for a Nikon.) Friday, May 20, 2011. Fox Goes to the Dentist. Last week we took Fox in for his first dental visit. Imagine our surprise when they told us he had 4cavities and possibly 2more. The cavities were in between his teeth - apparently we were supposed to be flossing his teeth and we did not know. Next week, he goes in for his dental procedure. They have to sedate the poor guy to work on those cavities and take some x-rays of his molars. Needless to say, James and Mary are sad and worried. May 20, 2011 at 9:16 PM.
