Monday, March 19, 2012. I've started my Garden! I started some seeds inside so they will be ready in mid-May for planting outside. I planted 6 watermelons, 12 broccoli, 12 Tiny Tim tomatoes, 12 Beefsteak tomatoes, and 12 Early Girl tomatoes. I will be planting cucumbers in about 3 weeks as well. I planted the seeds on Friday March 16th. As per the seed packets, I was expecting to see some sprouts within 7 - 10 days. Instead, I saw the first sprouts yesterday! Yesterday was the 18th!

Monday, April 9, 2012. This weekend was Easter. Ashley and Chad and the kids were at Mom and Dad's. I took lots of pictures (about 500! Sophie at 19 months. Finn at 7 months. This is what Steve and Chad did for basically 3 days straight! Tuesday, October 4, 2011. I grew tomatoes this year in the little garden in our backyard. It was my first time really growing anything. I loved it! I also grew lettuce in a container on our deck. It was so nice to be able to go outside and pick some food for supper. I planted the lettuce on July 1st. These pictures were taken on:. We are still eating the tomatoes, but we have two favourite tomato recipes that we've had quite a few times this summer. Bruschetta and toasted tomato sandwiches.

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. I am SO ready for spring! I can't wait until it's nice enough to plant my garden. Growing. And lettuce last summer made me "fresh produce obsessed". Saturday, August 25, 2012. Juice fast x 2. I know I told you I'd let you know how the juice fast was going. I'm not a liar. so I'm telling you now, however late it is (3 months give or take). It - was - awesome! It was a 28 day juice fast. And I lasted for 12 days. Then I cheated, and gave up. It was pretty sad. but lets not dwell on that right now. So I lasted 12 days, and. I felt SO good! I had so much energy, I was happier, I just felt great! I loved every morning when it was time to weigh myself!

I would still have to cook regular meals for Chad and Sophie. I would like to try it, maybe someone could let me know how much fruit/veg is required for a week. We are usually super dead. but today has been steady and I made a lot of money so far and it's only 3:30. So I was blogging, and fixing up the blog. and I look up, and there is a kid on the mechanical car. Thing in the middle of the hall with the straightest face. I've ever seen on a kid! Sophie had her 1st birthday. And we bought a house and are all moved in. This is his birth story. Finn Anderson Quist was born on Sept 3 at 8:14pm. He was 3 weeks early!
