Amy's Thoughts on Life

Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Good ol' Netflix suggested MI-5 to me, and since I'm going to London soon (have I really not posted about that? I decided to give the BBC show a go. I don't have the most discerning taste in entertainment- as in I don't usually care about the plot holes or blatantly repeated themes in shows. I mean, the more I watch a show the more I pick up on them but they don't usually bother me and/or make me stop watching the show-which is still half true in this case. 15 main characters&...

Amy's Thoughts on Life: June 2009

http://amybarrus.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 26, 2009. Question about "He's Just Not That Into You". So - I watched He's Just Not That Into You a few weeks ago and I was wondering about something. You know how they talk about how girls tell each other stories - basically rumors - that help each other get along with their specific situation? An old roommate told me a story once about her friend who chased a guy, rather than the other way around, and he married her. Is this one of those stories that's an exception? For most relationships...

Amy's Thoughts on Life: July 2010

http://amybarrus.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Hercules and middle school. It's kinda hard to blog when you work somewhere that you don't feel right divulging stuff that happens at work to the whole wide internets. Especially with HIPAA moles everywhere.probably reading this blog post right now, wondering how I'm violating patient health information.Well I'm not! Back off Big Health Brother! I have often dreamed. Of a far off place. Where a hero's welcome. Would be waiting for me. Where the crowds will cheer. I will find my way.

Amy's Thoughts on Life: December 2009

http://amybarrus.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 6, 2009. Amy Does a Sleep Study. I was thinking about all the books we read to kids to introduce them to things like Kindergarten and the doctor's office and the dentist. Mostly I remember Mercer Mayer's Little Critter books that told me about his adventures getting a new sibling or being babysat. But I'm kind of anxious to see what's going to happen and wish this was a topic covered in those Little Critter books.". It was kind of like a hotel room, except there weren't any windows, and ...

Amy's Thoughts on Life: July 2009

http://amybarrus.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Sometimes I think Brandon wants to get back at me for being his editor on Scroll for a good two years - which is fine by me. It was so worth it. He's been getting on me to blog, like I haven't blogged in the last couple of months.oh, wait. I haven't. I'm done with the guilt associated with that - I'm just going to blog now. I've been gone on vacation to California and Seattle, so when I got back, I thought it was time to have a summer par-te. And then there were 5. Whittled down...

Terbed: The Retina

http://beckyturbed.blogspot.com/2010/01/retina.html

A blog of random thoughts and photos. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Every once in a while I get to take photos of something I have not seen before and yesterday I did. I get all dorkily excited and have to hide it from the patients because it always means there is something wrong with their eye. Anyway, these photos are awesome. Had to share. Another Dr refers this 87 year old to our Retina Dr for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). I have taken MANY photos and OCT's of AMD and knew it was not AMD.

The Stevenson Story: July 2014

http://stevensonstory.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

July 6, 2014. Stevenson's in San Franciso. We will be posting about the rest of the month of June later but before I do I (Eric) wanted to share about our trip to San Francisco we just got back from last week. Hope you enjoy some of our fun time with my family in San Francisco! Just to stave off disappointment, we did NOT see the Golden Gate bridge, even when we were driving on it.the whole time it was fogged over. Kids chasing the geese and getting goose poo on their feet. A lot taller than expected.

Terbed: March 2010

http://beckyturbed.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

A blog of random thoughts and photos. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. I have a lip gloss addiction. I noticed in my purse today that I have 8 things of lip gloss. ( Technically 2 of them are lipstick, but I will just put them in the lip gloss category.). This does not include the lip glosses I have in my bathroom nor the chapstick I carry in my pocket always. Does anyone else have this problem? Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Clouds and 100,000 Miles. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Movies I have recently watched.

The Shorties - Jeremy and Janice

http://theshorties.blogspot.com/2009/10/great-brithday-weekend.html

The Shorties: Jeremy and Janice. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. A Great Brithday Weekend. My 23rd birthday was one week ago. I decided to NOT get a substitute since I heard from other teachers that our principal specifically mentioned not taking birthdays off.I didn't want to get on her bad side my first year teaching. So instead I took Thursday morning off (I teach the PM class) and all day Friday (no students- only home visits). But it got even better. Our first hotel was near the airport.far from any...

The Shorties: Jeremy and Janice. Monday, March 23, 2009. Check it out and please help spread the word! Http:/ pianojan.blogspot.com/. It was simple. It was good. It was gone in a matter of minutes. We used Kikkoman's Gourmet Sauce on the chicken and a fried rice packet, an egg, and some frozen veggies for the rice. Nothing authentic but mighty tasty. Mmmmmnew recipes are good. Friday, March 20, 2009. Some of the students I subbed for played hangman, and luckily I had my camera. Hilarious.

The Shorties: Jeremy and Janice. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Just one of those days. Did I close the garage door this morning? Did I lock my car when I got to work? What else did I foget to do? Who forgets these things right after they may (or may not) have happened? Apparently, I do! This short-term memory loss was not a good start to my day! I must need to take my vitamins. The Shorties - Jeremy and Janice

http://theshorties.blogspot.com/2009/12/tis-season.html

The Shorties: Jeremy and Janice. Monday, December 7, 2009. I can't believe how fast the end of the year is approaching! After my birthday, Halloween and Thanksgiving came and went so quickly. There's not much to tell about Halloween. We went to the ward party (dressed as nerds) then went home and ran out of candy (our neighborhood is popular apparently). I guess we ate too much of our own candy! The 3D was absolutely awesome! It really made the movie! I can't wait to go and see more movies in 3D. I belie...

The Shorties: Jeremy and Janice. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Wonderful Curtis and Melody Linton, our aunt and uncle on my mom's side gave us this video for our anniversary! What a great gift and well made movie! I had to lower the quality a lot to get it online, but I hope you all enjoy. Monday, December 22, 2008. It's been a while since we've updated and since I've read any blogs, but we'll try to catch up during our time off. Jeremy and I are both off of work till next year! 7) Grandma's grave. We w...

Keith, Heidi, Derek and Lucy Lowther: August 2011

http://keithandheidilowther.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Keith, Heidi, Derek and Lucy Lowther. Saturday, August 27, 2011. 6 lbs 5 oz. 18 inches. Absolutely perfect and beautiful! Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Derek loves to eat spaghetti. Derek and his cousins getting the Easter eggs ready. Derek was more interested in shooting the Easter eggs than finding them. He loves to play basketball. Derek was "supposedly" helping me make cookies. He was eating more than helping. Derek loves corn on the cob. It's one of his favorite foods. Pics from the zoo.

My Weight Loss Journey. May 7, 2013 · 9:56 am. Preparation for a Change. So yesterday wasn’t a total win…. But it wasn’t a total loss either. I ate things that I did not want to eat.
