Saturday, September 24, 2011. Getting Ready for Hico. First of all , let me say this: This is my FOURTH time to do this post with all of these pictures! After about 4 hours, my mission was accomplished, and I had sorted, tweeked, repaired, etc. my goods. Even took a few pics of my favorite things. Trust me, this is the tip of the iceberg. Monday, May 16, 2011. Two Months.no way! Actually, Yes Way! The fabulous store, HOMESTEAD , put on the Market and as I said earlier, it is something you do not want to miss. Mary, Carol and I had a booth under one of the tents and I will try to post pics in the next day or two. We made new friends, learned a whole lot, sold a whole lot, and can't wait to go back! Get out your warm duds, go to bed early,have your coffee maker ready to brew and get ready to zip over to 2231 South 8th (one block west of Sayles) tomorrow morning ( Saturday-Feb. 11th) for a FABULOUS ESTATE SALE! Monday, March 5, 2012. I wasn't expecting that! Since it is so early in the month and my rent is paid till the end of March, I think I will continue to do a major cleanout at home, in the garage, etc. for anything else I am ready to sell! Friday, March 2, 2012. Just a quick post to let you know that I am closing my booth at Classic Collections! Everything in my booth is 50% off, so "hop" on over there for some fantastic deals! Also,I will be taking more goodies down there in the next day or two. I have been praying about this decision for several weeks and I am really at peace about it. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Let the fun Begin! Well, it's finally here, the Hico Antique Market, that is. Here is the trailer we are taking and it is full to the brim.all 22 feet of it! A very good friend is allowing us to use his trailer and Mark and Brent will drive down and help unload it. Yeah for helpful husbands! The trailer is at Carol's house and so is all of our stuff! Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Pretty cute, huh? Our prayer for them. Their "journey" suitcases were loaded with food and goodies. And a great time was had by all! Next, comes Thanksgiving. Steph flew in from Denver and we joined Mark's mom and other members of his family at his sister's new country home in Rosebud. So pretty and peaceful! Antiques for a Modern Living. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Are you spring cleaning? Thankfully I have gotten that out of the way. I cleaned my house, cleaned the store ….and cleaned my garage (AKA the workshop) Thank goodness, and just in time…. Sunday, February 26, 2012. Springtime.Just Around the Corner! The other day I went into Gary's Floral and saw this beautiful potted English ivy that just screamed "Spring" to me. The florist told me this ivy would do great indoors with just a little bit of light. Bingo! I decided it was a "must" to use on my mantel, since I was in the mood to start changing to more of a Springtime look. Gotta have a nest in there somewhere! I even tucked one in the wing of my sweet angel! Added some canvas bird prints.
