It was actually warm up here in the frozen tundra, so the boys got to wear something cute and Springy for Easter. It was so nice to go to church with our parents and the boys. We were lucky enough to get to spend Christmas in Tennessee and get back to Minnesota before the weather got bad, although it was rough last leg of our trip on the way back. We we got home, Nana and Papaw came to visit and have Christmas with the boys. Thankful to all of our family for everything. We are truly blessed. My Santa and little Elf.

One day at Mall of America, Faye and I went to see if we could meet the Property Brothers from HGTV. The armbands to meet them had been given out by 10 am and we got there at 1:15pm. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Wilmington not only has the beach to enjoy but a gorgeous downtown. We don't visit as much as we should. Saturday, October 23, 2010. My parents and niece, Emily, made the long trip from Bama to NC last week. It was a fun filled packed 3 days. On Friday morning, Emma Grace had Grandparents Day at School. She loved having them visit her school for the morning and visiting the bookfair! On Saturday morning, they got to see EG play soccer. It wasn't her best game but they still enjoyed it! Sunday, February 14, 2010. Before we went to bed on Friday night, the flurries were coming down. Emma Grace was so excited! Saturday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland, atleast for Wilmington, Emma Grace came running out of the bedroom yelling, "I saw snow on the ground"! We had a great time playing, sledding and building snowmen! One of my favorite pictures. Emma Grace, Emma and Kailey climbing the snow covered hill to go sledding. Even Mia got sleeding time. I meant to mention that I snuck into a quilting magazine- American Quilter- last year, piggybacking with a quilter named Jennifer from the Chicago Modern Quilts Guild. The article by Linda Hungerford is about quilting groups making quilts inspired by art, and Jen made a quilt based off of one of my paintings called Safety Net. After fruitless shopping for blankets that suit my love of the color orange. Frankie trying to pretend she is a patch.
