It's all how you look at it. Sunday, March 22, 2015. Guilted me that I have been lagging in my blog posts. I didn't even recap the Austin half marathon! Which, coincidentally, was the last time I felt above water in trying to do everything and doing everything well. Let's summarize the mileage first. WW07: 30.5 miles (included the Austin half). WW09: 27.7 miles. WW10: 5.6 miles (got a stress cold, only ran 1x). WW11: 32.1 miles. WW12: 42.4 miles. Next, summary of life events. Next week is the first race&...

Perspective: November 2010

http://amycchow.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

It's all how you look at it. Sunday, November 28, 2010. I like to ride my bicycle. As in, I've ridden approximately 400 miles in the last 15 days. In Davis, Folsom, East Bay, Sonoma County, and Arizona. And in 2011 I will enjoy riding it even more as I will be getting some new sweet wheels from Edge Design USA. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Break in the Clouds. Now of course, I must do research on what it means to be an INFJ. So far some of the interesting facts I have found are:. Gravitate toward profes...

http://amycchow.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

It's all how you look at it. Thursday, September 11, 2014. 703 World Championship, Mont-Tremblant, Canada. I raced in my third WC race this past weekend - this time for the 70.3 distance. And similar to the other WC races, I went into the race burnt out, overworked, overstressed, and recently injured. However, that may have worked in my favor since it meant I actually had a realistic race plan with no ridiculous time goals and overall put much less pressure on myself. My powermeter fixing boy. It's all how you look at it. Thursday, August 7, 2014. A race, a trip, and trying to find my stride again. Fun fact: this was the first race Mike and I both did last year. It was the day after our second date, not sure if it counts as our actual third date, but it was the third time we saw each other. There had definitely been improvement in my race results from 2012 to 2013, and then there was this year. Field was decidedly not stacked this year. First in my age group and third female overall. 06/10 - B...

http://amycchow.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

It's all how you look at it. Sunday, February 8, 2015. Another week with lots of work. and 15.5 hrs of training! I definitely feel like I am reaping the effects of 6 weeks of consistent training, running especially. However, I think staying around 13-14 hrs of training per week is a better balance with all things considered. 325 miles run for the week. Definitely on track. Next weekend is the Austin Half Marathon with Jocelyn. Sunday, February 1, 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

My so-called CIVILIAN LIFE: December 2014

http://www.thewongstar.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

10084; ironman triathlons. 10084; prosthetics and orthotics. Sunday, December 21, 2014. 2014 Wongstar Racing in Review. Well, I did a Turkey Trot 10k on Thanksgiving morning, which I never race reported, as it was pretty pathetic (for me). If you must. Know, my first and last miles were great (6:36 and 6:37) but those four in between were pretty awful (7:24, 8:07, 7:54, 7:19). I just didn't care. I had some intentions to break my 10k PR again, as it was only 2.5 weeks after the Bay Bridge 10k. Oh yeah, t...

Ryan Giuliano's Triathlon Blog. 2014 Race Schedule / Results. Friday, December 5, 2014. Ironman Cozumel - - the return to Mexico. 3 full Iron distances races in one year.no problemo! I know that may seem a lot to some, but at the same time may seem like not so much to others. I guess it is all relative to your fitness levels, goals, and current time in life. If you had asked me one year ago from today if I ever thought I would even do two Ironmans in one year, I would have said, “No way! One day to go!

http://omgoshers.blogspot.com/2009/06/this-summer.html

Monday, June 22, 2009. God is going to rock my world. In a good way. I want to write down every single thought that has been going through my head because i don't want to forget anything. but that's clearly impossible because then i'd be writing all day and nothing else would be done. All i know right now is this:. God is crazy good. He loves me more than i know. He wants me to grow more than i want to grow. i say "God why are you so not real to me? Still learning to trust Him. Fei i made my blog public!

Saturday, February 28, 2009. The wandering heart . God's funnies like that. I was walking home with Kyung, and in my mind I was replaying the scene that just took place about 30mins before. haha I wasn't supposed to think about it, I gave it up for Lent. But it was really cute and I liked it. Kyung: ".are you okay? Daydreams are dangerous. Literally. Sunday, February 22, 2009. That's so inconsiderate". The car took up about 65% of the space, how the heck was I supposed to drive out? Then, a big African A...

Thursday, November 27, 2008. Heart motive. continued. Wow the past 2 days, i've been. in this whirlwind of epiphanies of why i do things i do, why i like things i like, why why why. It's like cruising through the streets as the lights all turn green for ya. All makes sense.now. Why did i always have "civil wars in my head"? Why did i always want to take AP/honors classes and get a B, rather than taking regular and get an A? What was up with my obsession to "becoming the ruler of the world"? Man, this is ...

http://omgoshers.blogspot.com/2009/05/new-beginning.html

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. I woke up and made a decision. I decided that i still do want to live this Christian life. that i still do want to try. to fight. to seek Him. Inspired by pastor min's message at send-off service:. Say 'no' to the things that pull you away from God,. Say 'yes' to the things that push you toward God,. And then say 'wow' as you witness God's glory in your life. I realized i've been saying 'yes' to a lot of the things that take my eyes off of God. Of the two things! View my complete p...

Saturday, January 31, 2009. After a couple of years of being a control freak and super overly possessive, i saw them placed in the same group. they were just talking. i told myself that this time, i will contain myself and that i will learn to trust him, and more importantly, trust God. that was 2006. The funny thing is, after thousands of false accusations, that was the only one time i fought to restrain myself from. and that was the only one that came true. I have learned that i can.
