Sunday, July 5, 2009. Gratitude, this very moment! I am feeling discouraged today. One week ago I had double bunion surgery and the pain today is as bad as it was days ago. I am a really active person,so I knew the inactivity caused by the pain and two walking boots would be difficult. I am sick of sitting and waiting to heal. Friday, May 15, 2009. By watching portions, cutting calories, and exercising. Nasty, crabby, ugly me started mowing my knee high lawn. The grass sliced away pretty easily which was satisfying. After awhile I noticed that temperature was comfortable, the birds were chirping away, and soon enough mowing the lawn didn't seem so much of a chore afterall.
