Apparently !: Arizona's Third Annual Teachers-and-Librarians Appreciation Party
http://apparentlyaprilynne.blogspot.com/2014/01/arizonas-third-annual-teacherd-and.html
1 New York Times Bestselling Author of the Wings Series. Tuesday, January 07, 2014. Arizona's Third Annual Teachers-and-Librarians Appreciation Party. Who hasn't posted a blog since September of 2013? For what it's worth, if I'm not writing blogs it's probably because I'm writing books! I guess, somehow it's easier to cram 140 characters into bits of my day than to draft a coherent, adequately picture-laden blog. But some things are worth blogging anyway! Is making some wonderful steps in that direction!

And now, I can also admit that I was so afraid that I’d hate it. All I knew was that the designer was working on it and that it was a “tough one”. So tough, that it went through a number of initial versions. I wasn’t sure how many but when I finally got my first glimpse, the document was titled: NEWComp16. And no, I didn’t ask to see the first 15. Seven months to go!

Sunday, January 29, 2012. The Book Addict Attends YAllapalooza. And James A. Owen. Where: Burton Barr Central Library. In Phoenix, AZ. Hosted by: Changing Hands Bookstore. In Tempe, AZ. When: 4pm on January 28, 2012 (but again I got there early so I had a wonderful seat- again). I wish I had pictures- but the authors panel was in front of a beautiful window and the light from behind made it so I could not get a good picture. But it was a fantastic view behind a fantastic authors panel. 2) Cecil Castelluc...

Today I’m welcoming my friend and awesome author Amy Fellner Dominy, whose latest YA, A MATTER OF HEART, just arrived in May from Delacorte. Amy is delightful and funny and very smart, and I was fortunate to be able to hang out with her at TLA in Austin this past April. She’s also the author of one of my favorite books,. Sixteen-year-old Abby Lipman is on track to win the state swim championships and qualify for the Olympic trials ...

http://theya5.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Please Don’t Feed the Trolls. In the past couple of weeks there have been several articles by people, so called concerned adults, about what they see as too much darkness in YA. I told myself I wasn’t going to post a response to this, since it’s obvious these are just people fishing for their fifteen minutes, but it seems like the topic that won’t die. So I figured I’d go ahead and throw my two cents in. 8220;Think about the children! 8221; they wail. Yeah, the classics. As if m...
