Winston Churchill Fellowship Blog (archived). Porcelain pendant dome shades that glow translucent when lit. Domes are slip cast in a large semi-spherical bowl mould and hand finished. Glazed on the outside giving a gloss, wipe clean finish. Simple and sleek the Dome Shades have interesting details in the clay from the slip casting process, that can only be seen when lit and the light shines through them. Best hung as a group, either in a line or at random heights as shown in the bar in the photographs.

Designs are hand carved into thin porcelain tiles, becoming translucent and more three-dimensional when lit, creating wall art that changes with the light. The lighting unit is integral and servicable and modular units are easily hung like a picture frame. Lit panels are powered with a regular 3-pin 240V plug with an option of coloured decorative flex or, alternatively, can be wired within the walls for a permanent seamless feature.
