Saturday, May 31, 2014. May 31, 2014-Grand Haven, Coast Guard, and Joshs Art Show. Summers are a busy time in my life which is just the way I like it. I hate everyday life. I love to explore the world and see new things. Today, we met my mom's friend, Judi Zubrickas, in Grand Have at our favorite breakfast spot, Morning Star Cafe. We also stopped at our favorite bakery, Great Harvest Bread Company. There are about 40 people that work at the Muskegon Coast Guard station. The new vessels cost about $650,000.

Friday, August 22, 2014. August 22, 2014: Las Vegas. On Friday, August 22, Mom and I left for Las Vegas in order to celebrate my 40th birthday. I sent a text to Kelsey on her birthday saying "Happy Birthday and that I was still in my 30's". She sent me a picture of she and Charlene hiking at Cannonsburg. There were times over the years that I got tired of covering for people who were constantly calling in sick, but overall, I really liked the job. In the early morning, I thought I wouldn't have a job at all, as there was a mix up with which job I was going to take. I had to contact the head union representative to get it straightened out. By noon, it was confirmed I would be going to the Drain Commissioner's office. Links to this post.
