Although I am not a big fan of battle scenes, these were well depicted but not overly graphic. The romantic scenes between Voda and Keldrick are tastefully written and will have you mildly blushing. I thought author Amy I. Long did a superb job of introducing her characters, defining her kingdoms, and describing her castles, as well as the lands that stretches between them.
