For our children and grandchildren.to see what we're up to! Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Actually, she calls them "bubs". An impromptu mid-week dinner invitation from Jeff and Niki afforded the opportunity to give Vivi a bubble gun that we saw at the Tulip Festival Street Fair in Mount Vernon. I mean she REALLY loved it. The giggle at the end is precious. It being a work night, the visit was short but plenty of fun was packed in. Vivi got lots of kisses. And we enjoyed some outstanding pizza, wine and beer.

We celebrated our 42nd anniversary with a three-day, two-night trip to Lummi Island. It's a short 15 minute ferry ride from the Gooseberry Point terminal just west of Bellingham. For our children and grandchildren.to see what we're up to! Puerta Vallarta and Davids Birthday. Mexico - Part I. Thursday, October 31, 2013. Puerta Vallarta and David's Birthday. Our resort was in Nuevo Vallarta, which is about 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. There's plenty to do there, especially along the Malecon (boardwalk). Since we had reservations for my birthday dinner in town, we went to explore PV during the day. The Malecon runs along the ocean and is full of shops, vendors and odd statues.
