To just enjoy the journey. And if I can't enjoy the journey, then I am failing. I am not living simply to reach a destination; I am not running simply to get somewhere. A beautiful place to escape to. And pretty hair,. A glowing complexion,. And clothes for miles. I have these things not,. Nor will I ever. So I embrace the body I've been given. I use my feet to run,. And let tiny fingers run through my hair. I feel sweet kisses on my face,. And wear what i can get messy in. And I am happy. What is best for me. Is not what the world tells me it will be. What is best for me. Is loving where i am,. Who i'm with,. And being grateful for all that God pours down on me.

I cannot believe that I ran 20 miles on Saturday. I even checked my garmin again yesterday, wondering if maybe I ran 12 and thought. I ran 20. But I did do it, and I did it well. I don't know if it's what I ate, the cooler/overcast weather (62 glorious degrees! Or just my mental state, but I killed it! I can do this marathon!
