Explorations in the poetry of life. The place where I live. October 5, 2014. Photo credit: J. Lescak. The place where I live used to be thick forest of centuries-old cedar, douglas fir, and spruce. Now it is an urban forest with trees from all over the world reflecting the multicultural weave of its human inhabitants.
