Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Still, mealtimes are slowly becoming a little less work, except for the fact that they last for so long. Jett and I generally sit at the table together for an hour and a half. After more than an hour of eating dinner tonight I finally cleared away his plate and brought out the ice cream, knowing that he would eat that up quickly and we could get on to playing. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. It IS a beautiful week. Going a week past my due date is not easy. People have expectations that I have not met. They have schedules that I have complicated. It's hard to walk. When the delivery person asked if I was Amy and handed this to me, I was surprised and delighted. There was no name on the card, but the message was optimistic and happy and comforting.
