Thursday, March 20, 2014. Peter at 2 months:. We had double doctors appointments for these two today and shots for both of them. Jane was tougher than ever and VERY pleased with her lollipop. Peter handled it like a baby. They are both napping hard right now. Peter weighed in at 11lbs 6 oz and 22 inches long. Jane is holding steady at 20 lbs and she's 31 inches long. Monday, May 26, 2014. Peter - 4 months. Peter had his four month appointment a couple weeks ago. He's 13.5 lbs (10th %ile) and 25.5 inches long (61st %ile). I guess he's getting long and lean. A few things about Peter at 4 months:. He loves to grab his feet and can get them into his mouth pretty well. He is really smiley. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. At the BBQ, Jodie put together Easter baskets for all the kids and an Easter egg hunt too. Jane caught on pretty quick and was pretty happy to gather her eggs, shaking each one before she put it in her basket. Here's Jane waiting for the race to start. Monday, November 11, 2013. Jane at 14 Months. Some notes about Jane at 14 months old:. Walks everywhere now. She picked it up a few weeks ago and now she's pretty steady. I can't believe we have a toddler. Loves to stack blocks end on end and can get her towers up to 4 blocks high. She claps for herself after each successfully placed block. Saturday, July 19, 2014. Colorado Springs–Pikes Peak. Our Colorado Springs adventure for today was Pikes Peak! We had fun with this sign we saw along the way! Notice Chris, I mean Big Foot, back in the bushes! We stopped at Crystal Creek Reservoir before heading on up the mountain to have a picnic lunch. Not too far down was this little lookout point, which had the most amazing views. Dan went out and stood on that ledge, and I was pretty much freaking out. It looked so scary! November 30, 2009. I realise these thoughts are a bit scattered, it’s due to a frustration of people continually posting negativity on Facebook – and being inspired by reading Emily’s latest post. I don’t think that personal expression should be discouraged at all, but occasionally doesn’t it seem as if people post these things simply for attention? Either way people are gaining a support network, either digitally or physically, it just depends on what people set out to gain in the first place I suppose.
