A gaggle of Garners - sharing our journey for ourselves and friends around the world to enjoy. Friday, September 19, 2014. Imagining the worst, praying for the best. Sometimes we are strong enough to live in the present. Sometimes we allow the fear of the unknown to take over. When I thought of a mother dying and leaving a husband and children behind, I would wonder what-ifs. a car accident? I don't want to leave my children. To entrust those people with their education, social and mental well-being?

The kids were able to ride little old-fashioned bikes while we shopped around. They have board games, tricks, candy, old fashioned sodas and toys you didn't know existed! It was a lot of fun, and just for sharing this on the blog, we get a free pound of CANDY! You can too :). Wanna see a gross miracle? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 7, 5 and 2!

A gaggle of Garners - sharing our journey for ourselves and friends around the world to enjoy. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He took me on a hike. He explained that's where he went to pray about marrying me. Then Matthew said, "I asked one person a question here. now I want to ask you a question." He got down on one knee, and the rest is history! The ring was 25 cents from a little vending machine. haha. A gaggle of Garners - sharing our journey for ourselves and friends around the world to enjoy. Saturday, May 23, 2015. What can the LDS (Mormon) church do for you today? I don't know where you're at in your life spiritually, but that really doesn't matter. If you want to feel loved and get reassurance you're not alone, there are many things you can do to get help. How do Sunday meetings work? Our Sunday meetings total 3 hours. The next hour is Sunday School where we learn about the gospel as all adults f...

A gaggle of Garners - sharing our journey for ourselves and friends around the world to enjoy. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. No matter what religion you are, these things are sometimes all the same! I can't believe how much this pregnancy and birth have emphasized how important these things are. It was too early and abnormal for me to go into labor this early. I knew a baby this early would mean having another one in the NICU (William was early due to pre-eclampsia). My heart sank. 2 I felt strongly I needed t...

A gaggle of Garners - sharing our journey for ourselves and friends around the world to enjoy. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Taping toddlers to a wall is your best bet. Without angels/the Holy Ghost, I'm sure I would only have one or two children alive at this point. I was doing chores downstairs with the boys and asked Stephen to go check to see if Erica (4 mos) was still sleeping and what Julia (2 yrs) was up to. The boys move way faster than me, so it's much quicker that way. 7, 5 and 2! Looking at the Past.

A gaggle of Garners - sharing our journey for ourselves and friends around the world to enjoy. Monday, July 29, 2013. Okay, every time I write on our family blog, I'm in shock and awe over how much time has passed. I cannot believe our sweet tiny Julia is almost five months old and Sariah is finally 18 months old (and in nursery now, holla! I have published a breastfeeding eBook. I told him he can't sell his 15 minute pieces of art on a lined sheet of paper using crayon in 5 different directions for $100...

Read it or not, it's cool. So I saw "The Vow" with my wonderful Sister-in-Law Lisa. Nothing. My choices are different than yours, deal with it. And when it came to my specific experience, I KNOW either my daughter or both of us would have died if we didn't have a c-section. Stay at home mom. 7, 5 and 2!
