Thursday, December 29, 2011. No wonder they built a monument on the mountain where BYoung said they would stay. If I was a pioneer, I think I would have killed my kids by the time we got half way to the valley. But, we are here in Colorado. The Christmas decorations all look very tidy and I only saw one church as we drove to the Graves'. Denver has a different feel. I hope this new life goes well. And I hope I can stand up to the emotional stress. I think the hardest part is over. Posted by Amy Graves.

Monday, January 9, 2012. I am excited to be learning about George A Smith at church this year. He seems like a very kind and selfless person. Some of the prophets were very preachy and hard to identify with. I think George A will be a pleasure to study. Congratulations to all my family that is expecting babies! I am now at a point where I can be excited for other people's expecations, without feeling the fear and guilt that accompanied each of my own. They will be such happy cousins! Posted by Amy Graves.

Friday, December 16, 2011. Just finished watching "Super 8" with Scott. Very "Spielberg-esc." He must have spent a lot of time as a kid roaming the streets of his hometown with his gang of goof-ball friends. Every conversation those kids have reminds me of our dinner table conversations when we were growing up. Passed off my Cub Scout stuff to the new leader today.so thankful to have that burden lifted from my shoulders. Another day of packing and cleaning tomorrow.with all the boys home.
