Land of the Kiwis. Sunday, March 29, 2009. This week we had to say goodbye to all our students at Ranui and such! But they were so good to me. They all gave me a fairy costume to parade around the school with, with 2 fairy helpers. It was so cute! Then people signed a card, and Pani and I provided the morning tea food. Land of the Kiwis. Monday, April 6, 2009. Tying up Loose Ends. I found some pictures that need to be added. 1) As you know, jess and I have taught Primary in church while we've been here. Here's a picture of our class! With the missionaries. They came in as a "guest speaker" the last day. :). 2) Cherish, me and Jess. The young women of the family. 3) We had our last umu, gathering with all the families! The food was cooked in a hongi, an underground oven and it was YUM! I loved the chocolate cake the best.

Sunday, April 12, 2009. My roommate and I absolutely loved Easter this year. It was just a wonderful day! We had a photoshoot before church all in our Easter dresses, and Sarah and I even pulled out Christina's famous ears ♥. At the end of Relief Society we had about twenty minutes for testimonies, and it was amazing. Leaving these girls is going to be so difficult to do. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Thanksgiving was just amazing this year- I don't think that I have ever appreciated the break from school any more. I feel like I have just enough drive now to get through all of the papers and projects and finals I need to before I get to the big break. During the week we had a "date night" where we made homemade pretzels (I made a "love turtle," a capital A, and a real pretzel shape) and played games like mafia and psychiatrist before watching Hairspray!
