Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Who wants to know? Well, we went to the doctor today for our 19-week ultrasound. Our appointment was at 1:15. We got in to the tech at about 2:15. Apparently, everybody wanted to see their babies today. So these are the two onesies I purchased the other day.specifically so I could do a fun little blog post about them. Wow.it's come to that. First, I start taking pictures set up especially for scrapbooking. Now I'm buying things directly for my blog. That was just me? And LOTS ...

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Well, it's 15 degrees here.brrrrr! But I love it! I would much rather it be cold than hot. When it's hot, you can't snuggle up next to crackling fire w/ your kiddos and stay in your jammies all day watching Noggin because school was canceled due to an inch of ice on everything. They just don't cancel school for too much hot. Unless you're in the city school district. Oh snap! Sorry, everyone at school! I exposed your kid to pink eye! But you know what? Tuesday, April 7, 2009. This past weekend (which extended into Monday) was such a blessing! Let's start with Friday:. I helped lead worship at Faith Bible. S women's retreat. What refreshment! It has been SO long since I've gotten to do anything musical and throw in that I got to sing with my friend Julie Jo. I miss her (which is ridiculous because we live 20 minutes away from each other! And I really miss singing (not much chance for that when you're taking care of kiddos every Sunday and Wednesday).

Friday, January 29, 2010. I don't care how bad it makes the roads. I love snow! Since I was a little kid I have loved the white stuff coming down. Maybe it's a remnant from former years when school actually got canceled (those of us from P.C. Schools, does it feel like they NEVER canceled due to weather unless there was a foot outside? Now it just has to threaten. White as snow, white as snow. Though my sins were as scarlet. Lord, I know, Lord, I know. That I'm clean and forgiven. Through faith in You.

Sunday, January 1, 2012. A fresh new start for a fresh new year. As my black-eyed peas (the actual food, not the band) are warming up in the microwave, I have to admit something: I was absolutely HORRIBLE about blogging in 2011! I entered two- count 'em, TWO! Blog posts last year! I AM going to try to stick with a project I've read a lot of people are doing, Project 365. Or 366, since this is a leap year). It sounds like such a great way to document my year.I'm sure I'll persevere! A Little Mood Music.

Wednesday, March 3, 2010. The fam and I got invited to my friend Heather's baby girl Isabella's first birthday party on Saturday. Being the responsible friend that I am, I decided to take my fancy-shmancy camera and maybe grab a couple candids. Little did I know I would become the sole photographer of the event! Apparently, I was the only one with batteries in my camera. Fun with Photoshop.how cute is that outfit? Her aunt made it for her! But get a load of them:. Talk about knowledge beyond your years!

Monday, February 22, 2010. A girl's love of curling explained. Ahhhcurling. The beloved sport of the north, where two teams face off with their stones and brooms in the ready. Why do I love it so? Is it the thrill of watching a team come from behind and get a double to leave only their stones in the house? Is it seeing a stone land smack dab in the middle of the button?
