Happy Baker: Kitchen Closed......
http://saralynn-toobusytothink.blogspot.com/2009/05/kitchen-closed.html
I created this blog to have another place to ramble about cooking, kids and life. Saturday, May 30, 2009. However, I am in a lull right now. Juggling school, work and home was stressful for a while there. Dinner has been old family favorites that I have long since posted about. Never fear! I draw inspiration from you all everyday. I am here, always reading your posts, even if I don't comment. Hopefully I can get back to my blog with the summer break! Hope you all have a wonderful summer! A Little Like Me.

You spin me right round, baby right round. | Beyond The Journey
https://beyondthejourney.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/you-spin-me-right-round-baby-right-round
January 13, 2009} You spin me right round, baby right round. I hate laundry mats. Okay…well…I guess that no one really likes them. To be honest I’ve never heard a person say they love going. Okay…but shhhh…maybe the cool snacks in the vending machines they have make it rock just a little bit. But only a bit. My washing machine started leaking last night. Why last night? Because it hates me and knew I had a ton of laundry to do. Why else? So off I went to the laundry mat today. Then I figured I’d br...

Got change for a dollar? | Beyond The Journey
https://beyondthejourney.wordpress.com/2009/02/08/got-change-for-a-dollar
February 8, 2009} Got change for a dollar? It’s been warm here the past 2 days. By warm I mean above zero…and maybe some melting ice and snow. Smooch took this opportunity to wear a dress out yesterday that had spaghetti straps. It was a little big. And as we are waiting for her haircut…she takes off the light jacket that I insisted she wear over it. She then looks down at her chest…and announces loudly for all to hear. OH NO…MY NICKLES ARE SHOWING. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

It’s called HOT dog for a reason. | Beyond The Journey
https://beyondthejourney.wordpress.com/2009/03/10/its-called-hot-dog-for-a-reason
March 10, 2009} It’s called HOT dog for a reason. Where should I start? Yeah…it will be a Captain O entry fer sure…. So I call him back. Abba was jumping on her bed (which is a box spring and mattress on the floor…so not super high) he said she did not hit her head…she just cut her lip. Abba has gone to bed by the time I call back…so I have to take his word for it. Wait for it…. Wait for it…. Daddy packed me a hot dog for lunch. Captain packed her a COLD hot dog for lunch…so the kid didn’t eat. Beyondthe...

Happy Baker: May 2010

I created this blog to have another place to ramble about cooking, kids and life. Friday, May 21, 2010. That's what my kids said after trying this new recipe from Taste of Home! Chicken breast drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, salt and peppered, topped with sliced plum tomatoes. Then wrap the chicken in bacon slices.(the bacon was baked in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes and drained before being wrapped around the chicken bundles) Then bake uncovered for 27 minutes until cooked through. 1 tablespoon...

I created this blog to have another place to ramble about cooking, kids and life. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. After organizing supplies and dividing them between the kids, I turn around and three pair of eyes are staring at me.hungrily. Dinnertime! No kidding a ten minute meal.some days are just like that.
