Friday, December 16, 2011. Seriously- are you writing these things down? These are the questions I constantly get asked when I tell people about my day. I never imagined how fun, challenging, and utterly exhausting raising 2 and 1 year old boys could be. From Kallen peeing in random places (like yesterday when he was sitting on the heat vent in our kitchen and said "mommy- I peed down there! To Lincoln constantly trying to throw things in the toilet or trash (like the TV remotes). I am on my toes all day.

Sunday, October 7, 2012. Farms, Pumpkins, and kids.oh my! I have had a couple rough weeks with the boys. Parenting with 1 parent being gone a lot, while pregnant (which means 1/2 the amount of patience). With 2 busy and extremely ornery boys can be TOUGH (exhausting, emotionally draining, overwhelming, you get the idea). So instead I will do a little photo dump of our recent visits to the farm and Carrol's Pumpkin Patch in Grinnell (this pumpkin patch is AMAZING! Probably our favorite one right now!

Monday, February 20, 2012. Here is a quick little Kallen story for you:. We have been potty training Kallen FOREVER! For the most part he has got it, but we have hit a major road block when it comes to going #2 in the toilet. In a desperate attempt to get him to start going we told him we would buy him a fish for everytime he poops in the toilet. (does that not seem like a good deal to you! We told him that a month ago and he still only has 2 fish. (insert really sad face). I HATE potty training :S ).

Tuesday, November 6, 2012. My "baby" turned 2 on Thursday! I feel like I should be saying "I can't believe it" but reality is- I can! This little boy has been in the "terrible twos" for a while now. Kallen seemed to phase out of it around 2 1/2 so I am hopeful that by the time this next baby comes, we will be in a good place. What will he be like as a teenager! Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Here are a few snapshots into our life lately:. I am watching my 3 month old nephew on Mondays and Tuesdays now and it is so sweet to see the boys interact with their new baby cousin. Kallen is super protective of baby Cru and suprisingly he is a HUGE help! He really does spend most of his day checking on him and informing me of what "baby coo" needs. :). Here is a close up of this sweet little guy. He is such a good boy! And while I am at it here are a couple shots of my boys.

Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Here is a little photo dump of what we have been up to lately:. For each meal I cook- I pay a price. (meaning that while I am cooking Kallen is doing something naughty).
