A Window Into My Little Red School House: A Precious 36
http://red-schoolhouse.blogspot.com/2009/12/precious-36.html
A Window Into My Little Red School House. Home school teacher of 7 missionary kids in Mexico. Monday, December 7, 2009. One struggle for me being here in Mexico is the long nights. Right now, come 5 o'clock, it is pitch dark. What in the world do you do? Any ways, a few nights ago, I made a big mug of tea, lit a candle, popped in Pride and Prejudice into my borrowed laptop and curled up with my fleece blanket on my "day bed." I was in heaven! Sorry I did not post while I was in Mexico.I am having computer issues. I had to use the McCoy's computer and so I would just spend a few minutes checking emails and updating my facebook. It takes me a while to write a post.I probably think about it too much. I guess I can't complain about that =). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Window Into My Little Red School House. Home school teacher of 7 missionary kids in Mexico. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. A Change In Plans. Monday, September 6, 2010. So I have this awesome startbucks hard plastic cup that comes with a straw. I washed it last night and left it out to dry on the motorhome kitchen sink. This morning I went to put everything away and the straw was no where to be found. Seriously? What in the world would mice want with a straw? I am so bummed! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

When the Mayor and the Editor are Feuding | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/06/15/when-the-mayor-and-the-editor-are-feuding
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. When the Mayor and the Editor are Feuding. Only in a small town like Gallup does this happen. Joe, the editor and publisher of one of the two newspapers here in town, has an ongoing feud with Harry, the mayor. It was recently exascerbated when Joe ran a poll in his paper alleging that nearly 60% of people in town are dissatisfied with the mayor’s job performance. It makes me glad I just run a little coffee shop. Date : June 15, 2009.

One Man’s Roofing is Another Man’s… | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/09/16/one-mans-roofing-is-another-mans
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. One Man’s Roofing is Another Man’s…. Every so often, I have some minor epiphany that makes me understand my dad a little more. My dad had two main jobs that I can remember while I was growing up. He was either working in the ministry in various capacities (pastor, youth pastor, etc) or he was roofing houses. I started putting that knowledge to work shortly after high school. I continued learning and continued building. Several of ...So th...

Dirk’s Shitweed | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/dirks-shitweed
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. Some of you who read my blog won’t find this funny at all, and I apologize in advance. I, on the other hand, thought it was hilarious. Dirk, one of my employees, just came into work after having the whole weekend off. I asked him how his weekend went. “Pretty good,” he said. “I smoked some Shitweed.”. I laughed like I understood so as not to appear ignorant, but then my curiosity got the better of me. 8220;What’s Shitweed? 8221; I asked.

A Window Into My Little Red School House. Home school teacher of 7 missionary kids in Mexico. Monday, August 16, 2010. Earwigs have invaded and taken over the school house. I will clean it one day and the next day the floor will be crawling with those little creatures. What would they be coming for.except to make me crazy? Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of them? Sunday, August 15, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Hands Of Mercy Website.
