We drove to West Virginia, and went white water rafting down a river that was considered ideal for the sport. I no longer remember the name of it; I just remember it was wild. Our group was large, so we were split into several rafts. The guide for our boat was a young man, 18-years-old exactly. But this was his first trip as an official guide on his own.

On November 3, 2013, we confirmed four young people into full membership in the congregation. Below are pictures from the confirmation service and from the potluck luncheon that followed. Borrowers are asked to replace each book with another or bring it back. The motto of the box is “Take a Book. Return a Book.”.
