To Zambia and Beyond. A tale of the Raskas' journeys. Archive for May, 2010. May 14, 2010. I am trying to figure out how to sum up our parent’s visit to Zambia, and the best thing I can say was that it was an absolute whirlwind, but an incredibly fun one! I thought I was a goner, my heart literally stopped. As you ca...

To Zambia and Beyond. A tale of the Raskas' journeys. Archive for August, 2010. Ending With a Bang! August 24, 2010. Because nothing was organized we were told to drive the one hour back to Kabwe and stay in a guest house. Another big challenge was the weather, it was very cold! I couldn’t believe it and it was icing on the cake of an already long day. Finally at around 9:30 pm both trucks were in working condition and at 10 pm, at the 7. We will have one more post before leaving Zambia on September 7.

Committed to the Calling: July 2012
http://shellyandbrettf.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Committed to the Calling. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. This is a sobering documentary into the lives of Thai boys living a life of prostitution and broken dreams. These types of stories are all too common and shows the underbelly of the sex trade. Please pray for these young exploited boys and kids everywhere that are treated like commodities rather than human beings. Brett and Shelly Faucett. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
