My Garden, Too!
http://anabeth-ivil.tripod.com/gardentoo.html
My Garden, Too! Welcome to my second garden page. I have so much to share that I couldn't fit it all in one page. In fact, I do believe I'm going to need a couple of pages more. After that I promise to stick to updates as the season progresses. The lilies above were blooming just a short while ago. I'm glad I have the photo to extend the season with. Can you believe that this grapevine is only two year's old? The daylilies are just about done now, but they were at their peak when this was snapped. Th...

Happy 50th Anniversary, Mom and Dad! Wes, age 6. Mom and Dad, Wes and Naomi to most people, met at church when they were only 12 years old. That was back when Dad was still called "Punkie." She says that he was a brat, but he was cute. Gee, that must explain why us kids turned out the way we did! I've heard that by the time they were 16 they were spied holding hands in church. Naomi, age 6. This is for you Dad, just because you asked! Harriet, Gene, Paula, and John. Wish Mom and Dad a Happy 50th. Happy 5...

Water Garden

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm). Here is a side view of our pond taken in June. We are still planting, transplanting, and always trying to think of ways to make it look better. I suspect that this year's project will be to light the pond from the inside. The Pond in Summer. I have an assortment of goldfish in the pond, and get a lot of enjoyment out of watching them. Just sitting here watching the fish and listening to the water is enough to make anyone feel better. Come To The Party.

About Me!
http://anabeth-ivil.tripod.com/page_2.html
My husband took this in March 1999 when we visited Cypress Gardens in Florida. Incidentally, we had a wonderful time! Don't forget to click the butterfly. To see more of our vacation pictures. Besides my family, one of my other interests is gardening. I love making our garden look pretty, and I love the sound of the waterfall splashing in our backyard pond. The birds that visit are an additional bonus that I wouldn't trade for anything. Click on the Yarn Works Award below to see some of my projects.

More Garden

Welcome to another of my garden pages. I promise that this will be the last.except for the Water Garden page! So pull up a chair, make yourself at home, and come back often. I intend to update all summer long as I continue to chronicle my garden's evolution from a dense patch of woods into the park that I envision. Jim built this birdhouse and nailed it on top of the grape arbor. Since then, it has been home to house finches, chickadees, and bluebirds. Happy 50th Anniversary, Mom and Dad! My Garden, Too!
