An Adventure in Miniature

An Adventure in Miniature. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. My sister was bemoaning the lack of magnets on her refrigerator recently. I decided to leverage my new-found love of miniatures to make some cute (and functional) magnets. The first completed magnet is. My version isn’t quite the same (missing one whipped cream/cherry, whipped cream is bigger on mine, and I want to find a better solution for the candle in the future), but I’m pretty pleased with the final result! I cut a circle out of matting board,...

An Adventure in Miniature: Not quite a miniature, but done in Fimo!

http://www.anadventureinminiature.blogspot.com/2011/09/not-quite-miniature-but-done-in-fimo.html

An Adventure in Miniature. Thursday, September 1, 2011. Not quite a miniature, but done in Fimo! There is a sweet gal at work that I wanted to make something for.  She wears bright pony bead bracelets, and she likes peace signs. So I made some peace sign beads! Not the best quality in the world, but was a super fun learning project! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Not quite a miniature, but done in Fimo! Watermark template. An Adventure in Miniature. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Baked Goods: Biscuits and Doughnuts. After watching many tutorials on many different items and techniques, I decided that baked goods would be an easy way to start. I used a mix of translucent and ecru (I think that’s the name! Premo for the dough color, and found that the aluminum straw I purchased from Maverick some years ago seemed to be the perfect size! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. An Adventure in Miniature: Baked Goods: Cookies

http://www.anadventureinminiature.blogspot.com/2011/08/baked-goods-cookies.html

An Adventure in Miniature. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. I felt like I needed to continue to use up my dough color, and moved on to cookies. This next experiment is semi-failed! I used a drinking straw as a cutter, and the dough from the original biscuit project. I mixed the chips into a small lump of the dough color, and used a plastic drinking straw as a cutter. I slightly squished the circles and dusted them with pastels, and I once again, I over-did it a little bit. (But I am prone to over-cook...

An Adventure in Ministry

An Adventure in Ministry. Thursday, 5 January 2017. Over the past couple of months God has really been speaking to me about the issue of opposition and facing difficult times, and in particular the last couple of weeks has shown this to me in stark contrast. About 5 minutes later I burst into tears! As the bible says. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 “. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. But after a while we came to a point of praise.

An Adventure in Parenthood

An Adventure in Parenthood. Thursday, January 3, 2013. We stayed in Singapore this Christmas, no traveling, just some quiet family time. Dylan loved all the gifts but it was a little overwhelming opening all the presents. He promptly took a nap after breakfast. When Dylan got all his beauty rest we then ventured out for a Christmas Day brunch on Sentosa and after a quick trip to the Garrett's house for another traditional Christmas meal. I think this holiday was all about eating. Fell in his new lego box!

An Adventure in Parenting. Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 7, 2010. 8212; heatheras @ 11:32 pm. So I posted about a week ago about my desire to have my laundry room more organized. I actually organized it that day, but I’m great at deciding something is going to work and than finding out it really really doesn’t. So I made myself actually USE my new system several times before I could call it a success. And it is! Now that’s just bad! Here is the new system:. I go ahead and hang out clothes up&#...
