Friday, November 14, 2008. I dont know what your bible says, but mine says this. God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27). With [the tongue] we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings who are made in the image of God . . . This ought not be so, brothers" (James 3:9-10). The image of God! This is what it means to be human! Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Now the word of...

Lonestar: May 2007
http://dannyg203.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 28, 2007. So I bought an Xbox 360 today. I bought it off Craigslist. I didn't really need one, but it was such a good deal I just couldn't resist (I'm bad with that sometimes). It came with 3 controllers and like 8 games for $350! It took away from some of the excitement, but at least I knew I wasn't gonna get ripped off. He was a pretty cool guy, in a snobby, French type of way haha! Now, was it really more healthy for us? Oh, and for those of you who remember my encounters at the lake with ...

Friday, June 29, 2007. Return To The Land Up North. I'm flying back to Ohio in 9 hours! And I am soo excited. I will miss Texas and all of the fun people here, but I'm looking forward to hanging out with friends and family back home. When I get back to Cincinnasssty, I think I want to eat some sky-line chili, and then go buy some grippos BBQ chips mmmmm. I just got back from the midnight rodeo so I got my two-stepping in before going back home. Goodbye Texas.for now. Posted by Danny G. Friday I went cowb...

Lonestar: March 2008
http://dannyg203.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 13, 2008. The Fork In The Road. It's things like that which make me think this is just another week. But it's not. I've come to the realization that the decisions I make this week are going to set a course for the rest of my life, and maybe eternity (yeah I know, that's intense). I spent last weekend at an orientation in Charlotte for my summer trip to Namibia. It was an incredible weekend! So why is this week so important? But now, I'm more concerned about what I do if I get accepted!

Lonestar: At the Heart of Africa, In the Heart of Africa....
http://dannyg203.blogspot.com/2008/10/at-heart-of-africa-in-heart-of-africa.html
Monday, October 27, 2008. At the Heart of Africa, In the Heart of Africa. Last week Rachel and I received the opportunity to speak at Navs Large Group about our experiences in Namibia. I felt like God prompted me to share some things out of my journal that I had written over there, and just wanted to share these things online for anyone who is curious. I went and watched two other groups teach before doing ours with Laura L. and Jerome. It was here where I realized two important things:. There is power i...

post-grad and pre-adult: February 2012
http://kathrynallyson.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. The thing that I loved most about working the night shift was that I would come home so exhausted that I could crawl into bed and fall right asleep. I am wide awake, trying to prepare for the next step. I am not sad, nor am I scared. But I keep hoping that if I stay up long enough, I will be able to face whatever comes next. I want to know what tomorrow will bring. I'd rather wait awake than be woken in surprise. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://kathrynallyson.blogspot.com/2013/01/i-went-to-gym-today.html
Tuesday, January 15, 2013. I went to the gym today. Gyms are not my thing. They remind me of picking up my brother (and his grimy little friends) from wrestling practice and forcing them to roll down all the windows so they wouldn't stink up my car. I also have a ton of anxiety about gyms. Are people looking at me? Do I look cool? Am I working out hard enough? I did 20 minutes on the elliptical today and then made myself so nervous that I started feeling pukey. My hatred of the gym: I'm working on it.

post-grad and pre-adult: As off the grid as I can manage
http://kathrynallyson.blogspot.com/2013/02/as-off-grid-as-i-can-manage.html
Monday, February 25, 2013. As off the grid as I can manage. I've had a nice little zen retreat in my everyday life, thanks to TMobile's stupidity. Russell J and I decided to get fancy new phones. So we switched to TMobile from Sprint. Our phones get here today. Our service, however, was switched on Thursday. I've been cell-phoneless (and all-phoneless) for five days. I'm partying like it's 2003. Apologetic Girlfriend Note: He has been begging me for months. Brilliant idea to sign up for a triathlon.
