Life As I know It. Thursday, August 4, 2011. 4th of July this year was kind of lame. It was nice to spend some time with my mom, Emily, and Josh though. I spent part of the weekend with my friend Tracy. We went to a church activity way down south and went tubing. We also celebrated Elaine's 70th birthday by having a huge party. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. The Day I Flew. We gave our children, and ourselves, a dog for Christmas this last year. It has been one of the best things we have ever done. We are absolutely smitten! Our dog is a border collie mix named Kinsey; we believe the mix part is black lab, although she has more of the border collie traits. One of those traits is a love of running. And I mean Run.Ing!
