It feels like I’ve been gone for ages between the quick trip back to Winnipeg for Grandpa’s funeral, and the past 3 weeks in Europe… I feel like I missed the entire Summer in Vancouver. (I know I was away enjoying Summer elsewhere…). I am incredibly lucky to have gone on this trip, it was an amazing few weeks. I don’t want to rub it in further). I love people movers!

Normally, I make the tartare with pickled ginger and the zest of lime but since I am trying to be very local, that's not an option. Salmon Tartare with Basil.
