An American in Brussels. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année 2010. I can't believe it is December 23rd! Rich and his parents took Elisabeth and Kate to Technopolis. The girls love the museum and the interactive science experiments. I spent the morning cleaning the apartment (five bathrooms, three bedrooms, etc.). A nice clean house for Christmas despite the pine needles from our two Christmas trees! I just finished baking pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins. They are so delicious!

An American in Brussels. Monday, July 5, 2010. On June 30 th. I took the Thalys. From Brussels to Paris with Elisabeth and Kate. We arrived safely and took a cab to our apartment in Paris on Rue de. On the left bank near the Eiffel Tower. We met Pascal at the apartment, he gave us a tour of the apartment and the keys and we unloaded our luggage. Kate, Elisabeth and I enjoyed buying groceries at one of the local markets. We bought fresh bread from the local boulangeri. We strolled through the Rue Cler.
