viva la vida: White Christmas
http://kristinaadele.blogspot.com/2015/02/white-christmas.html
I've never actually had a white Christmas! On our drive back to Ephraim the snow was down-pouring and I was afraid we wouldn't make it back alive, but indeed we did! I NEVER fall asleep during movies (not even when I try), let alone my favorite movie! I really must have been sleep deprived. During my awake hours (ha), I tried to make a snow angel but the snow was just too powdery. Just glad I got to be home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? I'm actually DONE with PA school. Where did the time go? I feel like I just started. I am also extremely glad to be done. Yes, even though I have kicked it in San Diego, Honduras, and Hawaii for rotations, the last two years have been intense and exhausting. I somehow passed all of my final comprehensive exams and never again have to introduce myself as a PA student. How thrilling! But man, what an exhausting graduation week. I had written final exams on the Friday. Waterfront at the ...

viva la vida: Thanksgiving
http://kristinaadele.blogspot.com/2015/02/thanksgiving.html
Unfortunately I missed the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning as I flew to Ephraim that morning, but fortunately I put in my 4.5 mile run the day before. My mom had prepared a delicious meal with new sides and a good spread of pies for dessert. Will you never overeat on Thanksgiving? Let's be honest. probably not. My most favorite part of the weekend was driving up into the mountains and scouting out the perfect Christmas tree to cut down and decorate in the living room. It's hard work! Maranda and Ryan...

Roatan - Day 39. Then we all piled into the truck for a 30 minute drive up north to the Iguana Farm. J was a little hesitant about going since she thought the iguanas might try to bite at her feet and she wouldn’t feel them, but that wasn’t the case. All they want is fresh leaves to choke down whole. Those suckers were HUGE. I even dared myself to pick one up! Roatan - Day 38. And it’s a good thing I’m leaving Central America soon… I’m sure I would get diabetes myself if I stayed ...After work, we hit up...

We make a great team of PA Fellows - serious talent, intelligence, and enthusiasm. My parents even got to attend my YSA ward and meet Stephen, so that made them some happy campers! I couldn't have asked for a better 30th birthday! And everything in between, whatever that may be. There's a group of 10 or so of us, so it usually varies with every activity who can go to what, but it's always a good time! Wow, I'm SUPER behind on my blog, but there's no time like the present to catch up! And work was bearabl...

Camera. Not too bad, right? Oh by the way. I moved to Utah after graduating. I love Portland, but just wanted to be closer to family, friends, and the great outdoors while I studied for my Boards (which I PASSED! But I'll get to all the fun I've been having in Utah later. I know, I know, sorry to keep you on the edge of your seat, cause I know you're literally about to fall off with excitement to hear all about it. After watching some barrel racing (perfect! Oh yeah, they look sketch. Where did all that ...

Roatan - Day 31. Are my legs REALLY that long? Get caught in the steering? M is hilarious. We’ve been hanging with him a lot more since ER #1 and #2 left. He always says “My goodness…” or “How could you? 8221; at the perfect time and it always makes me laugh. Or when he says, “What? 8221; in that high pitched drawn out voice that only my brother would know to what I was referring (old Sprite commercial). Roatan - Day 30. It wouldn’t be a Monday if SOMETHING didn’t go wrong, would it? E and G roamed aroun...

One Line A Day 2013. I made a resolution 365 days ago that I would write just one line a day (sometimes a sentence or two) every day for the whole year. I have FINALLY completed a new year's resolution that actually lasted the whole year. Looking forward to continuing the tradition! 1/1 Ringing in the new year with fever and chills. 1/2 I looked like death going to the grocery store to load up on top ramen. 1/4 Resolved to start studying and was doing a good job of it until D called 5 minutes into it.

Rotation #9 Honolulu, Hawaii. Well, you got the daily run down while I was in Honduras, but decided I couldn't, nor wanted to continue the daily write-up. I was too busy exploring the island! Not to mention plenty of jokes! So more about Hawaii! We saw lots of tropical fish snorkeling, green sea turtles, geckos, and even a giant monk seal plopped on the beach. My goal was to learn how to surf while there since we were there for 6 weeks, but I only got the chance to go once. Surfing is hard work! Teaching...
