Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Cyclone Yasi in the Centre. We just caught the tail of Cyclone Yasi at Yulara last week. The winds were up to 110 km p/hour. Not much rain but a LOT of humidity - and it is still damn hot. The local talk is that 2011 may bring a long cold winter - - but when? No sign of it yet. I have spent a hectic last few weeks working during the Christmas and New Year period so decided it was time for a quick, well-earned "get-away" (holiday break) and a chance to relax and re-charge. Michelle and I enjoyed a few days exploring some of our favorite spots on the Eastern side of Tassie and here are the pic's to prove it! The view to Maria Island. On the road to Bicheno.
