An Artist's Sketchbook

Tuesday, 17 September 2013. A painting in black and white on canvas, of a stag at Torridon. It was a moment recalled by Loch Maree - a stag raising his head in wonderful light. The painting is now on exhibition at the Torridon Centre (www.lochtorridoncentre.co.uk) - a venue which was designed to encompass the hills and wild scenery around the village of Torridon. It sells craft works and art, all made by local artists. Friday, 20 April 2012. I do not know with whom Edan will sleep,. The passage of the day.

An Artist's Sketchbook: May 2011

http://www.anartistssketchbook.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Monday, 30 May 2011. Words From The Past. The tide has gone out, and I am standing barefoot, looking at all the wet, blackened rocks, the pieces of bedraggled seaweed, the far out plants of weed which look like little trees growing on the furthermost slabs of stone. An Artist's Sketchbook: Fragile Things

http://www.anartistssketchbook.blogspot.com/2011/06/fragile-things.html

Monday, 27 June 2011. The silver ribbon of the burn runs down to greet the sea, under the two slices of stone that provide a bridge, and at last beneath the bay of boulders and into green waters. In the background the cuckoo, later this year as the weather has been inclement. Home now, as the light is fading and I have a bundle of wild flowers to put in water. Like a lot of fragile things they won't last long shut away inside, but their colours are like stars in the dark cottage. ".

An Artist's Sketchbook: February 2011

http://www.anartistssketchbook.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Monday, 14 February 2011. Two silvery heads caught in the watery, sunshine which filtered through the clouds. Seals were watching our figures on the hilly bit above the boulder beach. It is said they will venture closer if they hear a Gaelic song . They make me think of the tales of the selkies who come ashore, abandon their seal skins and step on to the land as bewitching people. 8220; Lonely without you I can’t find a path for my feet,. It may provide the basis for a painting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A community of creative types, joined together to support and help one another. Monday, November 23, 2009. You make me sweat. Your lips were soft as the moved from my mouth to my neck. The drove me insane with pleasure as you let them go as they pleased. Your body felt good in my hands. It felt even better when you wrapped your legs around me. Your sweat was sweet. And your love tasted good. I couldn't push hard enough into you. And you pushed me for more. You fit so good around me. You make me sweat.
