She probably does this for them every day and they have come to expect it, come to know that as they move along the wall with the sun there will be food. The "M" marking on her forehead, tufts on the points of her ears, tufted feet, long fluffy tail, and bigger long body are indicative of the"Maine Coon Cat". Her fur is longer on her sides and belly, but slightly shorter on her back, neck, head, and face. It is soft, thick, and many layered. All of her body is dark and striped. May 3, 2009. February 24, 2009. Awoken by geese honking on a February morning. Huddled together in the open field next door, I see them from my back porch. They alternately honk and bury their faces beneath their wings. Webbed feet on ice and snow. The geese have flown north too soon.
