Our Genealogy Mission: May 2011
http://genealogymission.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 29, 2011. Sunday, 29 May 2011. Things are beginning to slow down a bit around here as the Snowbirds are leaving town. The Center isn’t as busy and classes are not full like they were through the winter. That’s OK with us - we need a breather. We have two new baby hummingbirds poking their heads out of the nest. The little mother is flitting around all day feeding and protecting her babies. Https:/ www.sugarsync.com/referral? Happy Bride’s Family. Marlowe and Alice Anderson. Berkeley’s w...

http://genealogymission.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. Sunday, November 28 Mission Letter. Three weeks gone by with what to show for it? On Friday we went with Anita and Bob and Grant and Sophia to San Francisco. We hadn't been there for 16 years. We drove down Lombard Street (the curviest street in the US), crossed over the Golden Gate Bridge and back, stopped at the Marina, and had dinner at Fisherman's Wharf. Took lots of pictures! Ah-h-h, San Francisco! Now I remember why we haven't been there for 16 years. Feb 19, 1913. Some s...

http://genealogymission.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 19, 2012. The days seem to be flying by. Still no word on a new home for the Center. We have been overflowing with patrons - often every computer filled. That’s wonderful, but crowded and sometimes noisy. We are keeping the classroom busy as well. We will so appreciate the new, bigger building when it comes. Marlowe and Alice Anderson. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). February is Great American Pie Month. National Tortilla Chip Day. On this day in history. Feb 19, 1913. For the first time.

Sunday, December 25, 2011. Merry Christmas, everyone! Marlowe and I have been working - no surprise, you say? Well we haven’t been working on computer repairs or even house repairs. Our Genealogy Mission: March 2011
http://genealogymission.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 20, 2011. Sunday, March 20 Mission Letter. First day of Spring. Another exciting week. Jan and Margie came down for some meetings the first of the week and we went to dinner with them and had a nice visit. Margie brought her family history and I was able to get her started on putting it on the computer. She has one of those beautiful books with all the hand-written sheets. All she has to do is transfer them to the computer and go from there. You haven’t changed a bit! 1 lb lean ground beef.

Sunday, February 27, 2011. Sunday, February 27 Mission Letter. Then Friday and Saturday we went to the St. George Genealogy Expo and ran into Bill and Barbara VandeSluis, two more old, old friends from Tucson. They live in Price, Utah, now but would like to move to St. George. Barbara’s health isn’t too good and our climate would be much better for her. Marlowe and Alice Anderson. http://genealogymission.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 25, 2010. Sunday, December 26 Mission Letter. The year is nearly over. Marlowe finished the new classroom yesterday and it looks like we can take a few days off through the holidays. We have a couple of classes to prepare, but we won't have to go in to the Center for that. We've been watching the weather for travel. It doesn't look good. As we were getting ready to leave the Center last week we looked out to see this beautiful scene. The sun was setting and the sky was gorgeous! My sis...

Our Genealogy Mission: January 2012
http://genealogymission.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 29, 2012. Check out the rich, hearty soup on the Recipes tab. Nearly a month since I wrote last! My daughter, Julie is a first-time grandma! That’s exciting. Does that make me great? Hey there, Grandpa! I’m accustomed to being the Grandma and Grandpa generation. I’m not sure how I feel about my kids being there. Teach the class four times. Glad I’m not the teacher. I LOVE technology. It’s never the same twice. Marlowe and Alice Anderson. Sunday, January 1, 2012. Happy New Year everyone!
