In short, there exists new legislation saying that all buildings that are open to the public should by now be accessible wherever possible. We have spent the last few years trying to seek out accessible tourist sites, activities and restaurants, this has not been easy but our search continues. As well as cots, safety gates and highchairs are also available. Linen and towels are provided free of charge but we do ask that you bring your own towels for swimming pool and outdoor use. Smoking is not allowed in the property. Our cats, chickens and cows have asked us to mention that the gîte is not suitable for any other pets. All bedrooms are very spacious and cots are also available. The ground floor has a king size and twin bedroom, with a walk-in shower room.

We are situated in the North-East corner of the Dordogne, the 3. Largest department in France, whose capital is Périgueux. Périgord is the ancient name for the area and is still used to describe the differences in landscapes within the department. We are in the Périgord Vert. Probably the most varied landscape of the 4, its meadows interspersed with good areas of deciduous woodland and deep river valleys. 15 km away is our nearest town is Thiviers. Slightly larger and 20 km away is St-Yrieix-la-Perche.
