Anchor and Sail

Friday, August 29, 2014. Contractions started at 9:30 on a Thursday night. Andrew and I went to bed and tried to get some sleep, but despite how tired I was, excitement that this could be it. Kept me awake. By 11:30 the contractions were to the point where we needed to start timing them, and after an hour of tracking, we decided to call the hospital and check in. The baby's vitals came back up to a normal baseline - still on the low side, but in a healthy range. Then multiply it by ten. So I asked them i...

Anchor and Sail: Weekend Recap: New Toys (Part 1)

http://www.anchorandsail.blogspot.com/2011/04/weekend-recap-new-toys-part-1.html

Monday, April 18, 2011. Weekend Recap: New Toys (Part 1). On Saturday four wonderful women threw me a bridal shower. The theme was "Setting the Table." The guests included family and friends of my mother's; I have a great family and I love. My mom's girlfriends, so it was a really fun time. In addition to some beautiful linens, dishes, and other hostessing items, I also got a stack of cards full of personal words of wisdom from each of the ladies. It was such a great afternoon. Anchor and Sail: May 2011

http://www.anchorandsail.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Last week I made mozzarella. And have been meaning to retype my printout to tell you just what I did, but that is extremely tedious, so I went out and found you some links to great guides. Is pretty spot on to what I did. I don't have a microwave, so I did everything by hand, and melted the curds to knead into cheese by lowering them in heated whey. I feel like the microwave might be more effective. Are extremely useful and are worth reading before you start. Over the whole thing...

Anchor and Sail: June 2011

http://www.anchorandsail.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. You know what "hot" trend I'm totally over even before it hits the mainstream? This flat platform bs. It's chunky and unflattering to everyone. Just stop already. That is all. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. A Living Room to Build a Dream On. Sources: sofa and chair. White zigzag side table. In the end, I couldn't decide on a table lamp, so I just chose my top five and threw them all in there. What's your favorite? Monday, June 13, 2011. It started out innocently enough. List of Thing...

Friday, April 29, 2011. Every once in a while I like to pop over to the Kate Spade website and browse around. I can't actually afford anything, but a little Friday afternoon swoon never hurt a girl. Doesn't this screen shot make you want to set sail on a fabulous sunny vacation? Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Savory Dessert: Salted Butter Caramel Ice Cream. I found irresistible, I should also include a dessert. Is my best bet. The custard took a lot of babying and is currently chilling, as is my ice cream ma...

http://steigbedard.blogspot.com/2013/04/because-everyone-should-see-this-picture.html

Friday, April 5, 2013. Because everyone should see this picture. This photo is one of Papa's and Grammy's favorites. From December 2012 and he just gets cuter. April 5, 2013 at 3:35 PM. Actually, they both just keep getting cuter! April 6, 2013 at 8:51 PM. Have you sent it to Pops and Grams? April 6, 2013 at 9:03 PM. The best part of this photo is that the jeans, black converse and cableknit sweater match-matching was completely unintentional. April 8, 2013 at 9:47 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Ronan was a bit nervous about all the balloons in his honor. Opening all the great gifts! Posted by Michela Bedard.

Cheetos Crunchy vs Crunchy Kurls |

Cheetos Crunchy vs Crunchy Kurls. June 1, 2010. I never heard of Vinter’s before. They’re from Chicago and I lived there for a year but never noticed them, although that was in my pre-snack evaluating days. I checked out their website. And they have quite an extensive product list. I don’t know how but they managed to make it to the Dollar Tree in Ashland, MA. This bag came in a variety pack, withcorn chips and cheese puffs but since “Kurls” is spelled with a K I decided to evaluate them. Sort of like th...

The Cool Side of the Pillow. The Time I Almost Died. October 20, 2010. Grannies) started talking to each other. The conversation was in Zulu, so I could only pick up bits and pieces. I think it went something like (but not necessarily) this:. Hey Ethyl, we’re gonna have to deal with that bullshit in Ft. Louis and change taxis. I know, at least we have this idiot white kid on the taxi. He has no idea what’s gonna happen. At least that means we’ll have a better chance of getting a seat. Yebo, Nkandla (.
